Activities

Dinard has excellent markets (three per week), a wide choice of bars, restaurants and creperies, and many cultural events, such as a Music Festival in August, concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, firework displays, parades, etc. In summer the town is buzzing and in winter it offers a quiet retreat. Dinard golf course, a large luxury spa and an Olympic-sized swimming pool are nearby. Horse riding and tennis can be enjoyed at Port Breton on the outskirts of Dinard.

There are picturesque walks along the coastline from Dinard where you can enjoy the refreshing sea air and fantastic views.

The walled port city of St. Malo is only 15 minutes away by car, bus or by mini ferry. The historic town of Dinan is 25 minutes’ drive or an easy bus ride and the bustling city of Rennes is about one hour away. Visit the famous Mont Saint-Michel, a stunning medieval monastery and UNESCO world heritage site, situated on this magical island nearby. If you prefer, there’s no need to drive anywhere, as buses to all major destinations stop just outside the flat and there’s also a mini ferry from Dinard to St. Malo.

There are many other interesting places to visit in Brittany such as the attractive towns of Jocelin and Malestroit (within an hour’s drive). The Channel Islands Jersey and Guernsey are also easy to visit for the day travelling by hydrofoil.
